Fue publicado el mismo día que el DVD individual de Believe y alcanzó el puesto 12 de las listas de venta de Oricon, donde permaneció durante varias semanas. Las canciones de acoplamiento de este single son real dreaM y la balada NEVER STOP MY HEART; tanto Prayer como NEVER STOP MY HEART fueron canciones incluidas en su primer álbum de estudio, Greeting.
Prayer is Nami’s 3rd single, it was released on November 12, 2003, 15 years ago today. The limited first pressing grants two fold digi-pack casing. This was released on the same day as the DVD single Believe. The single reached #12 on the Oricon chart, where it charted for 11 weeks.
